Terms of use

Plain language, because a term you cannot read is a term you cannot agree to.

What Levant is

Levant is a set of smart contracts deployed to a public blockchain, together with an interface for interacting with them. The contracts execute exactly as written. No one at Levant takes custody of your collateral, executes discretionary trades on your behalf, or can reverse a transaction you sign.

The interface is provided as a convenience. You may interact with the contracts directly.

Live on mainnet, and unaudited

Levant is live on Robinhood Chain mainnet and settles in real USDG. It launched deliberately small, with conservative position caps while the vault is early.

The contracts have not been audited. They may contain errors that cause the total loss of any value placed in them. Trade only what you can afford to lose.

The $LVNT token

Levant's token, $LVNT, is not required to use the exchange, which runs on USDG collateral and the lvUSDG vault share. There was no presale, allocation, whitelist, points programme, or airdrop tied to the exchange. $LVNT is relaunching; the official contract address will be announced only through @levantfi on X. Any other contract using the Levant name is a fake, so wait for the official address before buying anything.

Leverage risk

Perpetual futures are leveraged products. A small adverse move in the underlying price can cause the total loss of your collateral. Positions are liquidated automatically when equity falls to the maintenance margin, and liquidation is permissionless — anyone may trigger it.

Liquidity providers take the other side of aggregate trader profit and loss. When traders are net profitable, the value of a vault share falls. Withdrawals are limited to liquidity that is not reserved against open positions.

Prices come from an oracle. If the oracle stalls, is manipulated, or reports a price that diverges from other venues, your position may be closed at a price you consider unfair.

Eligibility

The interface is not offered to U.S. persons or to residents of jurisdictions where use of it would be unlawful. You are responsible for determining whether your use complies with the laws that apply to you, and for any tax arising from it.

No advice

Nothing published by Levant — on this site, in its documentation, or on social media — is financial, legal, or tax advice, or a solicitation to trade. Figures displayed are read from the blockchain and provided for information only.

No warranty

The contracts and the interface are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the contributors to Levant accept no liability for any loss arising from their use.
